Here is a "behind the scenes" look at the special day in which we were featured on one of the episodes of the SKY TV program.
We want to tell you about our special day, which saw us involved in a truly unforgettable experience.
It was really an unexpected surprise to discover that we were chosen for the Romagna episode of the Sky TV format "4 HOTEL".

Having overcome the first moments of euphoria, disbelief and a pinch of fear, we immediately set to work to give our best thanks to the guidance of our irreplaceable Donatella.
She managed this important event with firmness and great finesse, guiding us, advising us and encouraging us every day. She told us who we are, what we do and where we want to get to in an absolutely superb way!

Marco on this occasion remained on the sidelines, coordinating the group, supporting his wife and managing all small problems like a great leader.

We wanted to highlight all the strengths of Oxygen and we're glad we did. Oxygen is:

ARRIVAL AT THE HOTEL
Welcoming Chef Barbieri and the fellow hoteliers, accompanying them to their rooms and checking that everything was to their liking, was a great challenge even if, after all, we did nothing different from what we do every day.
We like to pamper our guests and amaze them! To have a little bit of fun, we covered the whole bed of Bruno Barbieri with our delicious honey candies that he likes so much.
All the participants in the program slept in our fantastic suites and complimented the comfort of the mattresses and the design of the rooms. A great satisfaction!

BIKE EXPERIENCE
Our land is the home of cycling and we are a Bike Hotel.
We turned the bike rides on the roads of the great Marco Pantani of Matteo, our bike manager, into a "miniature tour of Italy", taking the participants to the “Italia in Miniatura” Theme Park. We made "non bikers" try the thrill of BIANCHI E-BIKES, the flagship of Made in Italy in the world;
This experience was not aired because, unfortunately, a sudden and insistent rain caught us by surprise and the editorial staff decided to cut this part.

With our teacher Patrizia who, with her many years of experience, has been able to teach yoga even to some "flexibly-challenged subjects", performing real miracles in doing so.
The support of Clara, daughter of Marco and Donatella, has been very helpful for Bruno's joints.
Our double yoga lessons are perfect in every season and suitable for both who loves sports and who doesn’t.
In summer we organize them by the sea or in the garden.
FOOD EXPERIENCE
The "piadina with the Zdora" (dialectal term that indicates the woman who is assigned the task of "supporting" the family, managing the house, taking care of those who live there). For our guests we organize cooking classes focused on typical Romagna specialties!
On the occasion of “4 Hotel”, we made them even more original, with our Elsa, Donatella's mother, because, to teach the award-winning Chef Barbieri how to make piada, there could only be a real 'Zdora, which is as good as a Michelin star chef!

During our guests' stay, we also organized the aperitif-dinner at the end of the day in our restaurant Folya. It was not planned by Sky's staff, but it seemed the best way to thank everyone for participating in this experience. We wanted to introduce the Oxygen Lifestyle Hotel as an all-round structure with a large team in the kitchen and in the dining room; we wanted to introduce our local products, the result of a long selection work by Donatella, who has always been responsible for the purchasing department for the hotel; we wanted to show the "show cooking" area of the Folya restaurant, which allows us to organize fantastic events in every season. And we did it!
Unfortunately, the season chosen for the shootings penalized us a little bit, but we are convinced that this opportunity was an additional source of motivation, and taught us to be always ready for every unexpected event, including weather challenges. Being chosen and advised by experts in the field, to participate alongside excellent facilities of superior category is for us a reason to be proud, an honor and an incentive to continue in our work with the same determination as always.
We didn't win, but still... we feel like winners!
The return when Donatella went back home, Marco's embrace, the joy of that moment: all this
will remain in our hearts for a long time.
